The Adult Day provides social activities,respite for caregivers,support,education and an opportunity for individuals to continue living in his/her community. The Alzhiemer's caregivers support group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 at The Morrison in Whitefield.

Sight Services for Independent Living(SSIL)21 South Fruit St.

Comprehensive program for people, aged 55 and older with a visual impairment, who live at home. SSIL provides information, adaptive aids, training and support at no cost through a service delivery team of professionals and volunteer peer counselors. Services include the areas of low vision, personal and household management, independent travel, benefits planning, communication and community integration. SSIL sponsors peer support group meetings at amny locations throughout the state which provides an outlet for the visually impaired person to find support and understanding from persons with similiar conditions who live in thier geographic areas. To be eligible for SSIL, A NH resident must be 55 or older and have a significant visual impairment.
